Giving Back
Every Move Makes a Difference
Your home journey can change more than just your address. With every closing, a portion of our commission is donated to causes that support families, housing stability, and children in need throughout our community.
For us, “sold” is never the end of the story. It’s an opportunity to give back in meaningful ways and to help build a stronger, more compassionate future for the people who need it most.
Proudly Serving The
REALTOR® Giving Network
Christina Valkanoff, our founder and broker-owner, proudly serves as Chair of the REALTOR® Giving Network (RGN)—a coalition of real estate professionals dedicated to preventing homelessness and advancing stable housing across our region.
Through her leadership, RGN raises awareness and critical funding for organizations such as CASA, The Carying Place, Hope Center at Pullen, and many other nonprofits doing life-changing work for local families. This role allows our entire team to stay deeply connected to the causes that strengthen the communities we serve.
RGN Canvas of Hope
$50,000 Raised for The Carying Place
We are proud to have been part of this year’s RGN Canvas of Hope, which raised $50,000 in support of The Carying Place, a local nonprofit dedicated to helping families achieve stable housing and self-sufficiency.
Canvas of Hope — 2nd Annual Event
In partnership with the Home Builders Association of Raleigh–Wake County and the Annual Parade of Homes, RRAR’s REALTOR® Giving Network hosted an inspiring evening celebrating art, community, and purpose.
Curated works from local artists were showcased inside a stunning $5 million Loyd Builders home during the Parade of Homes, with all proceeds and efforts benefiting The Carying Place and its mission to guide local families toward long-term stability and independence.
We are also proud to support organizations close to our hearts.
Every home we sell is an opportunity to build something greater—for our clients, our team, and the community we love. Thank you for being part of that mission.
The Children’s Miracle Network
Christina and her husband Andy also own the local Dairy Queen locations and are long-time supporters of the Children’s Miracle Network, with all funds raised staying local at Duke Children’s Hospital. Together, they contribute and raise over $25,000 annually, with events like Miracle Treat Day being a true highlight. On that day, they donate all proceeds and personally deliver DQ treats throughout the hospital to patients, families, nurses, and staff—spreading joy one Blizzard at a time.
