REALTOR® Giving Network

Christina Valkanoff, our founder and broker-owner, proudly serves as Chair of the REALTOR® Giving Network, a coalition of real estate professionals dedicated to preventing homelessness and supporting stable housing in our region. Through her leadership, the network raises awareness and critical funding for nonprofits like CASA, The Carying Place, Hope Center at Pullen, and many others doing life-changing work in our community.

The Children’s Miracle Network

Christina and her husband Andy also own the local Dairy Queen locations and are long-time supporters of the Children’s Miracle Network, with all funds raised staying local at Duke Children’s Hospital. Together, they contribute and raise over $25,000 annually, with events like Miracle Treat Day being a true highlight. On that day, they donate all proceeds and personally deliver DQ treats throughout the hospital to patients, families, nurses, and staff—spreading joy one Blizzard at a time.

Their mission is helping families experiencing temporary homelessness to achieve self-sufficiency and safe, affordable, permanent housing. Our church serves as an emergency shelter host and my husband, kids and I enjoy cooking and serving meals to the guest families."
